About Adelie
Our Story
Adelie Travel was founded in 2026 by CEO Lorrie Liang. An independent affiliate of Brownell and member of Virtuoso, Adelie Travel creates luxurious and adventurous travel experiences where the complexities of planning and logistics vanish, leaving only the joy of discovering new lands and seas, cultures and cuisines, and thus meaningful moments that will last a lifetime for our clients.
Our Name
In 2018, Lorrie traveled with her husband Horace on an Antarctic expedition, checking off another destination on their (now-complete) bucket list of traveling to all seven continents together. Adelie Travel was named for the Adélie penguin, which they spent days watching waddle and porpoise together.

Lorrie Liang
Founder & CEO
Lorrie founded Adelie Travel to curate uniquely personal and seamlessly executed travel experiences for others. Retired from a gratifying career as a hospital executive where she led one of the nation’s top 100 hospitals to critical acclaim, Lorrie brings this passion for service to each and every client.
Lorrie and her husband reside in Atlanta. They and their two grown children continue to travel together every summer
Olivia Liang
Chief Marketing Officer
Joining our team in 2026, Olivia combined her lifelong love of travel and storytelling to help launch the Adelie brand. When not working for the new family business, Olivia is busy protecting the wild birds and habitats of New York City on the marketing and communications team for wildlife conservation NGO, NYC Bird Alliance.
Olivia completed her Master of Fine Arts for Nonfiction Writing from Columbia University in 2023.
